blooming branch: dress

i have one closet in my house. it's narrow, but long, and stuffed full of clothes that cost next to nothing. i joke that all of my clothes came from the goodwill. in truth, i would say about 75% of them have. the rest are hand-me-downs, from yard sales, bought on clearance at real stores, or self-made. i say that i'm the cheapest person alive, and i'm fairly certain it's true. that said, i don't buy clothes just because they are cheap. i love labels but i hate paying for them and i somehow manage to find really excellent deals on things i would buy anyway. it's a lot of fun treasure hunting and a talent of which i'm rather proud.

recently, my friends blair and lindsey have encouraged me to share my daily outfits. while i'm certain a lot of them are not worth sharing (i.e., thrown together in five minutes before i run out the door), and while i'm pretty terrible at remembering to take photos, i do enjoy being creative with the items in my closet. here are my more noteworthy looks (that i remembered to photograph!)...
