sunday edition #10

while catching up on my country living issues last night, i came across this fantastic grandfather clock, much like the one i received from my parents for christmas. except instead of being on a canvas, it's actually made from wood. the great part, however, is that it's still only about the depth of a canvas, and costs less than $100. while i wouldn't really call that a "bargain of the month" ($5 at the goodwill would be a bargain), it's still fairly affordable for such a statement piece. interestingly, this one is actually called a grandmother clock - a reference used, upon further research, to describe smaller versions of the traditionally humongous grandfather clocks.

agree that $99 is about $90 out of your price range? you can win one here, but hurry - the contest is only open through the end of the month. good luck!
