hey, readers! it's good to be back in blog world. some exciting things have happened since i last wrote including a very special birthday. swank is two! the coffee shop where i work and sell my paper crafts moved to a bigger location and celebrated its second birthday in the last month. swank opened its doors in 2007, and the shop space was on the small side even then. customers were elbowing each other to get to the sugar packets and stir sticks. when a space on broad street became available, jessica and petra, the co-owners of swank, jumped on it before anyone else had the chance to snatch it up. they are now the proud parents of a store four times the size of their old location. to celebrate, we threw a big bash for our customers, family and friends! check out some pictures of the new store and the grand re-opening party.
